What is included in Reiki training in Bali?
Private Usui Reiki training with Andreas Pasolympia includes attunement, guided practice, questions, and certification for the level completed. Level 1 emphasizes somatic awareness; Levels 2 and 3 develop symbolic practice. The foundation is innate goodness and conscious living. Training can be arranged in Bali or online.
The Ground of the Practice
A familiar goodness.
A living practice.
In Andreas’s approach, Reiki begins with innate goodness, also called basic goodness: the capacity for awareness, care, openness, and understanding already present within us. Training makes room to recognize this goodness and become familiar with its expression through the body, attention, and relationships.
Usui Reiki is a Japanese practice associated with Mikao Usui, traditionally described through the language of universal life energy. Here, that tradition is explored through personal experience: feeling the hands, noticing sensations, recognizing your inner state, and discovering how you meet yourself and another person.
Reiki can become a path of conscious living. The quality of your presence matters alongside what your hands are doing. You learn to notice effort, listen to what the body is communicating, and let care take a fitting form.
This learning shares its foundation with Reiki training at InnerPeace, where awareness, basic goodness, and embodied practice guide the teaching.
One Foundation · Three Stages of Learning
Through the body.
Through symbol. Into life.
Each level includes attunement, practice, and room for questions. The somatic foundation remains present as symbolic practice and the capacity to accompany others develop.
Level 1 · The Somatic Doorway
Presence through the body.
Begin with Reiki’s principles, simple hand placement, and direct practice without symbols. The body becomes a place of learning: sensation, warmth, breathing, ease, and the changing quality of your attention.
- Receive attunement and become familiar with self-practice.
- Notice what is felt, including moments when little seems to happen.
- Explore sharing Reiki with another person through guided practice.
Level 2 · The Symbolic Doorway
Meaning that gathers attention.
Explore the traditional Usui symbols, including Chokurei, Seiheki, and Honsha-Ze-Sho-Nen. Symbol, intention, and attention become ways to recognize your state and deepen your relationship with the practice.
- Learn the symbols’ meaning and traditional applications.
- Explore self-practice, emotional experience, and practice at a distance.
- Stay in touch with bodily experience as symbolic practice unfolds.
Master Level · Practice and Sharing
Let understanding become presence.
Symbolic practice continues as the learning opens into attunement, teaching, and accompanying others. You explore how to share Reiki with sensitivity while remaining rooted in your own lived practice.
- Deepen the relationship between awareness, symbol, and intention.
- Learn the attunement process and how to guide students.
- Develop the quality of listening and presence that supports another person.
We begin with your experience. If you are new to Reiki, Level 1 offers the starting point. If you have studied before, share your training and current questions so that the next step can be discussed together.
Reiki as a Way of Living Consciously
Notice how you are,
as you practice.
Somatic practice brings attention to felt experience. Symbolic practice brings attention to meaning, imagery, and intention. Both can help you notice the state you are in and how it changes while you remain present.
01 · Arrive
Feel the support.
Notice the body sitting or standing. Feel the hands and the natural movement of breathing. Give yourself a little time to arrive.
02 · Notice
Meet what is present.
Warmth, coolness, tension, emotion, or an ordinary sensation can all be noticed. Let your experience be the starting point.
03 · Relate
Let the practice speak.
Notice how hand placement, a symbol, or an intention affects your attention and the way you relate to what you feel.
04 · Live
Respond with care.
Let recognition inform a small action: softening your effort, resting, listening more fully, or communicating what you need.
The invitation is to become more familiar with your experience and the goodness within it. Practice can accompany ordinary life: how you pause before answering, care for your body, or meet someone who needs to be heard. For a wider view, explore the map of human experience.
Recognition and Familiarity
Attunement,
with room to discover.
Attunement is part of learning Reiki at each level. Within the tradition, the teacher introduces the student to the Reiki flow. Andreas approaches this as familiarization, like one friend helping another recognize a connection already present within them.
Explanation, non-verbal energetic connection, and direct practice all have a place. There is time to ask questions, notice your own experience, and let understanding become more personal and embodied.
Practitioner or Master Certificate
Training includes a Practitioner or Master certificate from Inner Peace Academy, according to the level completed.
Lineage Certificate
You also receive a certificate showing the line of Reiki teachers connecting Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, with your own learning.

Before You Begin
Questions about
Reiki training in Bali.
Can I begin without any Reiki experience?

Level 1 emphasizes learning through bodily experience and practice without symbols. Levels 2 and 3 develop symbolic practice alongside that foundation. Throughout the learning, you stay attentive to the body, your inner state, and how you meet yourself and others.
What do you mean by innate goodness?
We use this phrase for the basic goodness at the heart of our being: our capacity for awareness, care, openness, and understanding. Reiki offers a way to recognize and become familiar with these qualities through experience and daily practice.
What if I have trained with another Reiki teacher?
Share the levels you have completed, your practice, and the questions that are alive now. Andreas can discuss a suitable next step, including refreshing or deepening an existing foundation.
Will I receive a certificate and attunement?
Attunement is part of each level. You receive a Practitioner or Master certificate from Inner Peace Academy, according to the level completed, together with a Lineage Certificate tracing the teacher lineage from Mikao Usui.

A focused meeting often lasts around two to three hours per level, with flexibility for questions and the pace of learning. Fees and any travel or venue costs are discussed personally and agreed before booking.
Can I learn online or at my hotel or villa?
Yes, by arrangement. Share your accommodation area in Bali or your time zone for online learning, along with preferred dates and your Reiki experience. Andreas will confirm availability and practical details.
