Beginning with Your Needs

What is your team facing?

A team may have clear targets yet feel disconnected from the meaning of its work. Another may be changing roles, navigating change, or struggling to connect individual effort with a shared purpose. A conversation with HR and leadership helps us understand the situation and shape a relevant learning experience.

Learning Themes

Capacities that matter at work.

These themes offer a starting point. Together, we agree on the emphasis, teaching language, and depth of exploration.

01

Motivation and a Sense of Belonging

Connect personal values, abilities, and responsibilities with the team’s purpose. Participants reflect on what makes their work meaningful and the contributions they can develop.

02

Self-Awareness and Openness to Learning

Recognize habits, assumptions, and the effects of our behaviour on colleagues. Openness helps a team receive feedback and see new possibilities.

03

Meeting Pressure and Change

Understand responses when targets or circumstances change, identify what needs attention, and choose a clearer next step.

04

Communication and Mutual Understanding

Listen with empathy, express needs clearly, and check shared understanding so that people can work together more effectively.

An Example in the Workplace

A sample session: connecting targets with contribution.

Participants choose a work target, then reflect on their role, abilities, and current challenges. In paired conversations, they examine assumptions and the support they need. The session closes by identifying one step they can try at work.

This format can develop into a reflective seminar, an interactive workshop, or a series of meetings. The final structure is agreed with the organizer.

The Facilitation Approach

Learning that involves participants.

Explore Andreas’s approach

Sessions combine presentations, discussion, case examples, and practices relevant to participants’ work. Andreas invites people to examine perspectives, listen to one another, and explore possibilities for shared action. The structure responds to the program’s purpose, group dynamics, and available time.

These programs suit organizations that want to develop both individual capacities and the quality of working relationships. Self-awareness, empathy, and understanding help participants connect learning with their responsibilities and everyday interactions.

Self-awareness helps us recognize the effects of our actions. Compassion takes shape as care for the people we work with. Understanding helps a team find steps that serve both its organizational purpose and its working relationships.
